Help Brighten the Holidays for 2,000 North Texas Families: 7th Annual YMCA Catalyst Christmas
For seven years, Catalyst Christmas has brought together volunteers, donors, corporate partners, and community members to help ensure North Texas families have access to food and essential care items during the holiday season. Presented by Reliant, this annual YMCA initiative provides meaningful support while bringing hope and dignity to families across our community.

This year, the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas aims to:
- Support 2,000 North Texas families
- Distribute food and essential care items throughout the community
- Engage hundreds of volunteers in service opportunities
- Partner with businesses and organizations committed to giving back during the holidays
Together, we can help ensure families have the resources they need while reminding them they are supported by a caring community. As the need across our communities continues to grow, so does our commitment, and we need your help! How You Can Get Involved
Volunteers are the heart of Catalyst Christmas. Whether you are volunteering as an individual, family, corporate team, or community group, there are opportunities to make an immediate impact. Volunteer Activities:
- Sorting food donations
- Organizing essential care items
- Packing materials for distribution
- Staging and preparing branch allocations
- Supporting event-day operations
